1. Sila Nerangalil Sila Manithargal

Sila Nerangalil Sila Manithargal wrote by Jayakanthan. This book adapted into a film under the same name and won a national award. This book first published in 1970 and won the Literary Sahitya Akademi Award (1972). This book is called a masterpiece novel by Jayakanthan! This novel is a one the milestone in Tamil novel history.

The writing style and the narrative of this book are excellent. The story is about one Tamarind tree that stood for generations. This is one of the greatest Tamil novels I have heard. Sundara Ramasamy broke all the barriers of a story. Oru Puliyamarathin Kathai is a beautiful book and a great to read for Tamil language people.

4. Amma Vanthaal

Janakiraman wrote amma Vanthaal. T. The story revolves around Amama, who is a housewife. It is a beautiful work, a different story, and more of a psychological masterpiece from Janakiraman. This book first published in 1996.

5. Karuvachi Kaviyam

This is the book which leaves you a heavy heart as you complete it. The powerful lines of Vairamuthu make you cry at specific points. This story of this book is complete with more information about rural living style and people there and a portrait of the life of a pastoral people in the Tamil Nadu village. Karuvachi Kaviyam wrote by Vairamuthu.

6. Vandhargal Vendrargal

Vandhargal Vendrargal, written by Madhan. This book was published in January 1994 by VIKATAN PRASURAM. This is an excellent story of Mughal dynasty in India. This is a historical genre type novel. Vandhargal Vendrargal based on a superb capture about Moghuls and their history.
