Sujatha Rangarajan

Sujatha Rangarajan, who wrote under the pen name Sujatha, was one of the most influential modern Tamil writers. His career spanned over four decades, during which he wrote more than 100 novels, hundreds of short stories, plays, screenplays, and essays. He passed away in 2008, but his books are still widely read.
